Sydney had invited Lucas over the
next morning, she couldn't keep this
to herself for long she was already
showing. He didn't take the news so
well, but Sydney thought he was
more surprised than anything else.
Lucas soon calmed down. Sydney thought
it would be best if he move in with her and
away from his fiance and other children.
She couldn't raise this child on her own
on a teacher's salary.
Lucas thought it would be best to
get some fresh air, he took Sydney
to the park on their first actual date.
He even surprised her with flowers,
but that wasn't the only surprise
he had in mind...
Lucas thought it would be best if he
were to start over to at least start
things the right way rather than
how he had with Riley.
With Riley he hadn't even proposed
'till Aubrey, his second child and
only daughter was born.
Sydney was overwhelmed with joy
everything was going exactly the way
she wanted it too. Finally she
would have someone reliable by her side.
Sydney had quickly put together a
quaint little wedding on the beach,
she had to move fast for the baby
could come at any moment.
Their first kiss as a married couple
was short and sweet, but in the
back of Sydney's mind she wondered
if he truly wanted to be with her.
The ceremony went smoothly and
things were winding down as Lucas
and Sydney shared their first
dance as newlyweds.
Well not everything was smooth.
And just as they were about to take
off for home forgoing their
honeymoon Sydney's water broke.
and she started going into labour,
Lucas wasn't much help as he panicked.
Sydney thought the best thing to
do was for Lucas to go home and
sleep and she would bike to the
hospital to have the baby...
